Sponsors of the Henley Youth Festival include local community educational and other Trusts, small independent businesses and national companies. Some sponsor entire sections of the Festival while others sponsor one event, the website, a piece of equipment or prizes for competitions. Professional workshop groups such as the Young Shakespeare Company offer exceptional extra curricular experiences, but are expensive for schools to hire, so the Henley Youth Festival plays an important role in supporting this element of local school life.
In a similar vein, HYF pays for the hire of The Kenton for a week which offers every young person a chance to take to the stage, either alone or with friends, regardless of whether they study with a performing arts group.
